Bastie is an indie-pop singer-songwriter and UK Songwriting Competition finalist. Before the 2023 Festival season he was fortunate enough to meet Paf (drums), Aleks (guitar) and Sam (bass) - and asked them to join him over the summer circuit. They played the main stages at festivals such as Pub in the Park, Lakefest, Carfest as well as The View stage at Boardmasters. You can also still catch them at this year's Victorious Fest, Camper Calling alongside Wet Leg and The Kooks.
They’ve recently recorded the remainder of Bastie's 2024 releases with long time collaborator and producer Danny Monk (known for his work with Flyte and Luke Pritchard from The Kooks).
Meanwhile, Bastie’s next release of the year - ‘She’s Got to Go’ - is due come out August 23rd. Having received praise from BBC Introducing, HotPress, Earmilk and Clout, Bastie and his band can’t wait to share the latest music they’ve been working on.

One Last Chance released November 24th
One Last Chance shows Bastie in a different tempo, with a nod to seasonal nostalgia, the track incorporates a more soulful tone than his previous releases. His evocative lyrics here accompanied by a simple harmony of piano and strings. Bastie was also fortunate enough to record the music with long time collaborator, Nick Brine who made his name producing on Oasis and Arctic Monkeys Records.
